Bay Shore Escape

An adult oriented vacation rental on the shores of Kootenay Lake, in historic Kaslo BC. Located only one hour from Nelson, it makes the perfect spot for exploring the west Kootenay region and all the amazing things to see and do in the area. We know you'll love it and look forward to helping you make some amazing memories !
Cleaning Protocols:
We must allow 24 hours between guests.
This allows adequate air exchange after guest departure, and the ability to clean,
sanitize disinfect all surfaces, linens etc.
We disinfect all hard surfaces with special attention to:
toilets, sinks, faucets, doorknobs, light switches, remote controls and garbage cans.
All dishes must be washed even if they appear to have been unused.
Linen hampers and garbage receptacles are cleaned and sanitized after every guest.
Floors & carpets are vacuumed (utilizing hepa exhaust filters) and
floors are washed using disinfectant after every guest as well.
All machines: washer/dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator coffee machines etc are also ALL cleaned and sanitized.
Linens are washed as soon as possible in the warmest water possible,
dried thoroughly and replaced on beds and in washrooms.
Single use items: toilet paper, sugar packets, cream, coffee, soaps, shampoos etc are replaced after every guest.
Please understand that these things all take time and we are only looking after our guests best interests in terms of health and following protocols as laid out by the province of BC for ALL accommodations.
These regulations may mean; you need to check in later or even the next day to allow for proper cleaning and sanitizing.
Turnovers now take longer and require more time to complete.
We will try our best to accommodate your preferred check in times and dates,
but we may need your patience and understanding that;
in these times things just take a bit longer.
The good note is... There are a lot of great things to do in Kaslo, or great eateries to enjoy while you wait, and
we are happy to make recommendations for you.
